J. DAVID AIKMAN, LLM, NYU Law School, J.D., St. John's Law School, BA, Pennsylvania State University, began his legal career practicing criminal defense with the New York City Legal Aid Society. Upon relocating to Orange County in 1978, he continued the practice of criminal defense with the Orange County Legal Aid Society and then with the Orange County District Attorney's Office where he was appointed Chief Trial Assistant. For the past 30 years he has been engaged in civil litigation, primarily in the personal injury field. During that time he has tried dozens of cases in the Supreme Court of every county from Westchester and Rockland to Greene and Columbia. Mr. Aikman's area of practice with the firm is civil litigation, with an emphasis on Plaintiffs personal injury.
