• The Greenwald Law Offices is pleased to announce that it again has been successful in pursuing an appeal on behalf of one of its municipal clients. In a decision rendered on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, the Appellate Division in Brooklyn found that Supreme Court had mistakenly denied dismissal of claims against the firm's client, the Town of Wallkill. The Appellate Division's Decision in Baker v. Town of Wallkill, Docket No. 2010-06372, reversed the Supreme Court's Order and dismissed claims that alleged that revisions to the Town's Zoning Code had been enacted without affording Constitutional due process. The Appellate Division found that the plaintiffs' claims had been untimely. The appeal was primarily handled for Greenwald Law Offices by David A. Brodsky, Esq., head of the firm's appellate and commercial litigation departments.

• Congratulations to Greenwald Law Offices' Gary Greenwald who tried and just received a jury verdict winning a major victory in a top felony criminal case! His client was fully acquitted with charges dismissed of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree. He was also found not guilty of the following: Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. The man was acquitted by a jury of his peers.
